Polish Wieniawski Philharmonic Orchestra

The beginnings of the Polish Wieniawski Philharmonic Orchestra go back to numerous chamber and solo concerts given by musicians who, after World War II, established ties within Poland.
Performances in Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden, Germany, South Korea, Denmark, and Ukraine have been acclaimed by both critics and the public. The orchestra has participated in numerous international festivals and Franco Ferrara Conductors’ Seminar in Siena. The Polish Wieniawski Philharmonic is the largest music institution in eastern Poland.
The Polish Wieniawski Philharmonic will be accompanied by first prize-winners of the upcoming Chopin International Piano Competition and Wieniawski International Violin Competition.
Tickets are $35, $50, $65, and $80 plus fees and can be purchased at the Stephens Auditorium Ticket Office, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or online at Ticketmaster.com.
