Paulo Padilha E Bando Music and Workshop

Paulo Padilha e Bando will present a free workshop with music on Saturday in Ames Public Library’s Auditorium.
The ensemble loves to share their passion for music and Brazilian culture with learners of all ages. Come learn about and enjoy the music of Brazil, including traditional samba music. The ensemble will also share information about their instruments and speak about the culture of Brazil. Questions from the audience will be welcomed.
Born in São Paulo, Padilha is a master musician with more than 25 years of experience in music education.
This free event is presented in partnership with Ames Public Library and Iowa State Center. A program of Arts Midwest, the 2019–2022 Arts Midwest World Fest cycle is generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, 3M Foundation, the Kaufman Family Fund for Israeli Cultural Exchange, and Music Port.
