National Carousel Day
/ July 25, 2018
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm / Story City Carousel, 102 City Park, Story City
Join us for National Carousel Day at the Story City Carousel!
Story City’s carousel is one of only 100 wooden antique carousels still functioning today. It was built in 1913 by Herschell-Spillman of North Tonawanda, New York.
The Rooster is one of the rarest carousel animals. The Carousel originally cost the Greater Community Congress now known as the Greater Chamber Connection $1,200 in 1938. That money was raised the first weekend it was open July 4th, 1938.
