The 4th of July Parade is one of the largest events of the summer, and attracted thousands of attendees last year! What a great connection between Main Street and the city of Ames!
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Dog Dock Jumping @ 500 block of Burnett
At dusk – City of Ames Fireworks @ 1407 University Blvd.
7:45 am: Friendship Ark 5k and Free Kids Run @ Ada Hayden Park
8:30 am – 10:30 am: City Hall Pancake Breakfast @ front entrance of City Hall
9:00 am – 11:00 am: Bill Riley Talent Competition @ Intersection of Main & Burnett Ave. The winner of the Ames competition goes on to compete at the state fair. To enter the Bill Riley Talent Competition email Sarah Buss at the Chamber of Commerce. firstname.lastname@example.org
