Ames Municipal Band

The Ames Municipal Band is under the direction of Michael Golemo, who is in his 20th year leading the band.
Concerts are held each Thursday in June and July. Concerts are free of charge and will feature popular music, light classical, hymns, and marches, as well as music from movies and Broadway.
Tonight’s vocal soloist is Katharine Hensley, and trombone soloist is Nathan Dishman.
Although there is some seating in the park, audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
