The Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau (Ames CVB) welcomes Courtney McDonald to their staff as their Creative & Digital Services Coordinator. McDonald will be responsible for design and creative content for the Ames CVB tourism and hospitality industry and supporting the overall communications and visitor services programming.
McDonald, a central Iowa native, brings to the Ames CVB professional experience in marketing and communication services including website strategy and design, brand development, design and content creation of promotional materials, trade show booth graphics and signage. Most recently, she worked as the Event & Marketing Manager at Gatherings (Nevada) and as Marketing Communications Coordinator for Ag Leader Technology.

The Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau (Ames CVB) is a member-based organization, supported by hotel/motel tax. The Ames CVB builds economic activity in the Ames area by recruiting visitors to the community for conferences, conventions, sports, group tours, special events and leisure trips.
