The Iowa State Center is thrilled to partner with Ballet Des Moines as a part of our mission of bringing people together through dance and community events. Showcasing the stunning artistry and exhilarating physicality of contemporary dancers, A Triple Bill features a trio of original works including a world-premiere choreographed event by Artistic Director Serkan Usta.

A Triple Bill is Ballet Des Moines’ fifth annual fall production, featuring three short ballets in one spectacular evening of dance. Usta, along with guest choreographers, will each present ballets featuring the company’s own professional and pre-professional dancers. Ballet Des Moines embodies artistic creation and expression while preserving the tradition of classical ballet and promoting the ingenuity of contemporary dance.

Ballet Des Moines launched its first professional ballet company in 2012, offering additional training opportunities for young dancers and an expanded performance season. Ballet Des Moines exists to enrich lives in the greater Des Moines area by delivering excellence in the performing arts and striving to provide the highest level of dance education in the region.
